On 5th June 2020, 3 soldiers were martyred, one was kernel rank officer and 2 soldiers. Many reporters reported that there were no firing and the death was caused by beating. The China with whom talk was going on, the China had entered the Indian territory, beat 3 of our soldiers to death. In social media there were chaos of death of Chinese soldiers as well. We Indians were happy with that. Even we started uninstalling Chinese apps like Tik Tok, Shareit, etc. But what is the real fact behind this clash between Indian and Chinese army. Are we getting the real fact from government? Let us know more.

There was no firing, not even the soldiers were beaten to death. The fight happening in Ladakh between Indian and Chinese army is been projected as a major point of concern after 1962 war which was also held between Ladakh and China. When our 3 soldiers were martyred, the central government in Delhi had some serious discussions. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held discussion with chief of Defense staff Bipin Rawat and all 3 Army Majors. In this meeting External Affairs S Jayashankar was also present. After the meeting Defense Minister and Prime Minister Modi held a meeting. In between this a statement from Chinese government also came up which says that Indian army entered Chinese territory for illegal work. The Chinese government urged India that maintain the international protocols and keep the Indian army in limit. Reports also says that Chinese soldiers were also died in 15th June 2020 fight. Chinese media Global Times tweeted that their 5 soldiers died with 11 casualties. Later, a statement came that there is no clear picture of the deaths of Chinese soldiers. When it comes to Indian army, the statement came which states the casualties both the end. After 1975, this is the first time, when our soldiers are dead.

Sources tell that China was preparing for this clash from April 2020, and on 5th May 2020, there was fight between the two troupes since Chinese army had entered Indian territory in Galwan Valley and Pangong Lake and the number of their soldiers were increasing day by day. On 9th May 2020, Chinese soldiers entered Nakula in Sikkim and there was a report of fight there as well where 4 Indian soldiers and 7 Chinese soldiers’ casualties were reported. Here the fight was resolved at local military level. On 12th May 2020, Chinese helicopters were seen flying in LAC and India flew it Sukhoi 30. Amidst all these both Indian and Chinese army were deploying their soldiers in LAC. On 23rd May 2020, Indian Army General MM Narwane went to Leh. On 26th May 2020, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with National Security Chief Ajit Doval, and Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat. After all these meetings and talks, Indian government did not reveal anything. On 30th May 2020, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh with talk with Aajtak told that there are some clashes but will be resolved soon. And subsequently there was a meeting held between both the armies in Major General Level, but nothing concluded. 2nd June 2020, PM Modi spoke to US President Donal Trump and there was a mention of Ladakh disturbance but there also no conclusion was driven.

5th June 2020, there were video conferencing talks between majors of both the army. 6th June 2020, lieutenant general video conferencing took place.  This meeting was going on and at the same time on 8th June 2020, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting with Bipin Rawat and 3 army majors for review. 9th June 2020, some news came up about decrease in tension. Both the armies took back their tents, however there were no authoritative statement from Indian Government with these regards. And finally, MM Narwane stated that the situation is under control and we are on talks for a complete resolve.

On 14th June 2020, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated in a rally Jammu Jan Samvad that talks are going on and we are on full swing to resolve the issue. Even China is also in line with us to resolve the issue. Both at military and diplomatic level the talks are going on said Rajnath Singh. He also stated that the central Government will not keep anyone in dark, neither the parliament nor the public. He also told that when time comes, the government will reveal things happening there in Ladakh, but will never compromise the National pride.

7th June 2020, Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the world knows after America and Israel, only India can protect their borders. But the opposition kept blaming the government on not revealing and hiding the facts. However, reporter Ajay Shukla who writes on Defense practices, wrote that China has not withdrawn in any of the places, neither Galwan Valley nor Pangong Lake. New LAC is being is getting demarcated in Indian soil by China. Chinese roads are entering Indian territory. Border meetings are also happening in New LAC formed by China.

Some of the defense experts stated that this is a very serious issue and the government should take immediate action to diffuse the issue. I urge the Indian government to answer the Indians. Chinese army has not only entered the Indian soil, but they are in full-fledged plan to acquire Indian soil.

Conclusion – The Indian government should act with no time of any attack from China and what ever happening in border should be transparent in all forms with the Indians.
